| The Sonatina Piccola for Two Bassoons was comissioned in 1982 by two bassopnists, soloists ofcthe Bolshoi Thetre and the Moscow Operetta Theater. In 2010 Arkadi Troitsky revised the score and created a new version. As the Sonatina is a quite difficult composition both in the ansamble and solo parts, it can be recommended for experienced musicians or academic students in their last year of training.
